Changes in IBProvider v3 beta [build 779]

• Reorganization of SQL-queries preparing algorithms. Exclusion of usage of marker parameters parser for the following queries category:
  • DDL-queries.
  • Transactions and savepoints management queries.
  • Create/drop database queries.
  Now for execution of DDL-inquiries about creating stored procedures and triggers it is not required to apply additional efforts to change named parameters prefix.
• Arrays saving error are fixed.

The nearest plan is continuation of reorganization of OLE DB command implementation. It will allow solving a number of specific problems — for example, export of data into Excel XP. The most part of the connected changes is already done.

Changes in IBProvider v2/v1 [build 1795]

• Length of BLOB-data column changed from -1 to MAX_INT. It solves ADOExpress problems connected with setting empty strings into BLOB-data parameters.
• Improvements in OLE DB types converter:
  • specific modes for converting strings to numbers
  • converting to DBTYPE_UI8
