IBProvider v2.2.0.969 — «Data Links» dialog support, localization

We’re over with the next qualitative change in the development of our OLE DB Provider for InterBase. Hope, you’ll appreciate our work 🙂

Updates

1. Added new initialization property — «location» — an alternative way to point to database situation. If «location» contains an empty string, the provider reads data from the «data source» property. Now, pointing to database situation through the «location» property, you can give any symbol name for database in «data source».

2. The property free_threading=true by default. Remember, that this property was added to solve the problem of connection test in the «Data Links» dialog. At present the problem is worked on (radically), so there’s no necessity in this property any more.

3. Support of «Data Links» dialog:

Hope, that data source customization will become easier now.

Localization

At present the provider supports two languages: Russian and English. Error messages and dialogs are located. All the data are in module resources.
